Project Overview
Laser cut and formed steel brackets for construction machinery. These brackets are designed to withstand high loads, vibration, and outdoor exposure.
Challenge
Bending 6mm thick steel requires significant force and precise spring-back calculation. The bracket also needed to support a load of 500kg without yielding.
Our Solution
We used a 200-ton CNC press brake with custom V-dies to handle the thick material. We added gussets (ribs) to the bend areas to increase structural rigidity and performed FEA analysis to validate the design before production.
Results
