High-volume production of precision brass pins for industrial electronics. These components are critical for ensuring stable electrical connectivity in 5G base stations.
Challenge
The client needed 50,000 pins with a diameter of just 0.5mm. The critical requirement was a tolerance of ±0.002mm. Handling such small parts without damage during plating and packaging was a significant hurdle.
Our Solution
We deployed our Citizen Swiss-type CNC lathes for high-speed, high-precision production. We also managed a specialized barrel plating process to ensure a uniform 3-micron gold thickness without bending the delicate pins.
